New year, new prospects. 2024 Bowman Baseball has all the autographs, Refractors and up-and-comers synonymous with the brand. With both hobby and retail configurations, there’ll be several ways to chase it.
Traditional hobby boxes once again deliver one autograph while larger jumbo boxes have three.
The base set has 100 cards, consisting of a mix of rookies and veterans. They’re complimented by 150 separately numbered Prospects.
Both sections of the checklist have matching parallels:
Chrome Prospects add some shimmer and shine to the same batch of 150 players. Of course, this also opens up the Refractor rainbow:
Chrome Prospect Autographs are one of the cornerstones of the entire hobby. A player’s “first” typically becomes one of their most important cards. Parallels include:
Chrome Rookie Autographs have Green Refractors (/99) and Yellow Refractors (/75) available in retail.
Paper Prospect Autographs, which stick with the Bowman name and not Bowman Chrome, are exclusive to retail. Parallels for these include:
Bowman Buyback Autographs, which are original cards with added signatures, are also randomly inserted in packs.
The insert lineup on the 2024 Bowman Baseball checklist is a mix of familiar and new.
With artificial intelligence being all the rage, Bowman A.I. uses advanced stats to predict future stars.
From the cutting edge in technology to a Happy Days background staple, Prospect Power-Up channels pinball for its design.
Returning inserts include Bowman Scouts’ Top 100, Bowman Spotlights and Rookie of the Year Favorites.
All of these insert sets come with Mini-Diamond Refractors (/150), Aqua Refractors (/125), retail-only Green Refractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).

The base set has 220 cards, which is one-third smaller than Topps Update Series. To that end, it’s not a full carryover. But the overall feel of the checklist is similar with subsets like Rookie Debut and veterans in new for ’23 uniforms.
Falling under the Topps Chrome banner means a Refractor rainbow. And it’s a sizeable one:
Frozenfractors return, an exclusive to hobby jumbo packs. These blue-tinged cards are numbered to -5.
Some cards also get the SSP treatment with Image Variations. These have Green Speckle Refractors (/99), Gold Speckle Refractors (/50), Orange Speckle Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
The main set’s design is the basis of Chrome Baseball Update Series Autographs. Unlike the Rookie Autographs in the main 2023 Topps Chrome set, these use stickers for the signatures and aren’t on-card.
Parallels include:
For those who like inserts, the 2023 Topps Chrome Update Baseball checklist has a lot of them.
1988 Topps Baseball (1:6), 2023 All-Star Game Chrome (1:6), Action Stars Chrome (1:6) and Titans (1:12) all get chromium makeovers after appearing in 2023 Topps Update Series Baseball. They’re joined by Green Refractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). Other than Titans, select cards also have tough autograph versions.
Another batch of Future Stars are also available, landing 1:16 hobby packs. These have the same five levels of parallels as the other more common inserts.
2023 Topps Chrome Update Baseball has a handful of scarce inserts as well.
Celebración come numbered to 99 and showcase players celebrating. Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1) are randomly inserted as well.
Crushed is a case hit that’s all about power hitters.
On the super limited side are Diamond Dominance, Let’s Go!, Topps Chrome Radiating Rookies, Topps Chrome Exposé.
At the start of the season, Fanatics announced that players would wear a special patch on their first MLB jerseys. No details on how they’d be used or where they’d appear were known at the time. Now they are.
2023 Topps Chrome Update Baseball has the first batch of the cards. Each one-of-one has both the full patch and the player’s signature.

2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball draws its design inspiration more from the world’s natural wonder — the branch. Don’t worry, though, there’s plenty of Allen & Ginter strangeness to go along with it including ducks, exotic fruit and sandwiches. Of course, baseball remains the primary focus of the checklist.
Configuration wise, not much has changed. Autographs, memorabilia cards, rip cards and buybacks continue to land three per hobby box. Minis remain one per pack.
While the layout and design are a little different this time around, the makeup of the base set hasn’t changed. It has 350 total cards, 50 of which are short prints.
Yes, there are lots of baseball players. But like all previous Topps Allen & Ginter sets, it’s not exclusively baseball. Celebrities and other figures and icons also appear. For those who like strictly baseball, this might not be their thing. However, for those who like something different and a more cultural approach, few products exist like this.
All have one-of-one Glossy parallels. Silver Portrait versions are back as hot box exclusives.
Several more parallel levels are available in a mini format, throwing it back to Allen & Ginter’s tobacco origins more than 120 years ago. Besides basic Minis, hobby packs have:
One-of-one Mini Printing Plates are also available, although these come framed so they’ll appear as full-sized cards in packs.
A limited list of 150 players also get Metal Mini (three copies each), Stained Glass Mini (25 copies each) and Framed Mini Cloth (/10, hobby-only) versions.
Most of the signatures in 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball come in the form of Framed Mini Autographs. All have on-card ink. Parallels include Black Frame (/25) and hobby-only Red Ink.
Autograph Relic Book Cards and Dual Autograph Relic Book Cards are numbered to just 10.
Cut Signatures are all one-of-ones and come from baseball and beyond.
Standard memorabilia cards have three different spins. First are Mini Relics. These have a swatch embedded in a small card that is then framed. Two different Full-Sized Relics designs take a more traditional approach. This is where collectors will find relics from some of the set’s pop culture subject as well.
Hobby-exclusive DNA Relics return. Numbered to 25 and under, these have fossils.
Allen & Ginter Framed Originals have tobacco cards inside a traditionally sized frame. Each individual card is numbered as a one-of-one.
If you really want to see Allen & Ginter’s variety and quirkiness, look to the standard inserts. Like the rest of the set, they include a mix of baseball and non-baseball themes. There’s also some variety in dimensions with standard-sized and mini sets.
Among the full-sized inserts is Pitching a Gem. Each showcases a pitcher and puts their birthstone in the background. If you’re thinking there’s a natural fit for relics, they’re on the checklist as well.
Banners Seasons highlights players when they’re at their best, winning awards or championships.
Famous Rivals appropriately feature two subjects while It’s Your Special Day looks at ‘days’ that make their way around social media (and onto Garbage Pail Kids cards).
For those who like food, 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball has a couple of options. Get That Bread is all about sandwiches and other meat and bread pairings.
Each What’s Cooking? card has a different ingredient. A complete set doubles as a recipe.
Six other inserts come in mini form.
Time Out! highlights games that were delayed or cancelled for strange reasons. Don’t expect any references to the 2022 lockout, though.
Baseball Lexicon Minis take sayings from the sport and interpret them more literally.
What a Steal! and Inside the Park both sound like they could be baseball inserts but they’re not. What a Steal! looks at things people have tried to swipe throughout history while Inside the Park is about U.S. National Parks.
Ducks and Bearing Fruit round out the mini inserts.
Rip Cards didn’t originate in Allen & Ginter but they’re definitely synonymous with the brand. Combining to land two per 12-box hobby case, these have a smaller card hidden inside the main one. The temptation here is whether to tear open and damage the outer card in hopes of finding something better or more elusive inside.
2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Rip Cards are found in two main forms in packs, both of which are sequentially numbered. Standard Rip Cards have one mini card inside. Hobby-exclusive Dual Rip Cards have players on both sides of the outer card. Inside are two minis.
As for potential mini cards inside of Rip Cards, there are a few things. Mini Exclusives expand the checklist to 400 cards with 50 additional variations not available anywhere else. These have Metal (/3) and Wood (1/1) parallels.
Artist Originals are all one-of-a-kind miniature pieces of artwork.
Every 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter hobby box has an oversized box topper card. Allen & Ginter Boxloaders and N43 Boxloaders feature MLB players. For select cards in both, autograph versions numbered to 15 can also be found.
Inside the Park Boxloaders blow up the mini inserts. Each of these has 500 copies.
Select hobby boxes also have Boxloader Rip Cards that have three minis, one of which is an exclusive Stained Glass Mini Variation.

Now in its 15th year, Topps Allen & Ginter returns in July with notable stars from MLB sharing the stage with greats from outside the Baseball diamond. Base cards, special inserts, relics, and autograph cards celebrate some of the world’s most interesting subjects.
EACH HOBBY BOX OF 2021 TOPPS ALLEN & GINTER DELIVERS 3 HITS, INCLUDING ON-CARD AUTOGRAPHS, RELICS, ORIGINAL A&G BUYBACKS, BOOK CARDS, CUT SIGNATURES, AND RIP CARDS!
The base set is another thing that isn’t changing, at least as far as size goes. It totals 350 cards, 50 of which are short prints. It’s a mix of the standard vets and rookies as well as some retired stars. Athletes in other sports and figures from the broader popular culture are also part of the Allen & Ginter experience.
As far as standard-sized parallels go, there aren’t a lot of them. One-of-one Glossy versions can be found for all 350 cards. The 300-card shell set also has Silver Portrait versions that are exclusive to randomly inserted hobby hot boxes.
More plentiful in the parallel department are the tobacco-sized minis, which land one per pack:
Printing Plates (1/1) are done for the mini cards, however, they’re in packs with frames to make them full-sized.
A trio of additional partial parallels are available for 150 cards:
Typically, Allen & Ginter has some of the most popular autograph cards of the year, ranking alongside Heritage‘s Real One Autographs. The framed mini format returns with signatures coming on-card. Like the base set, variety is another key with baseball players intertwining with other athletes and figures.
Parallels include Black Frame (/25) and Red Ink, which are only available in hobby packs.
Autographed Relic Book Cards and Autographed Relic Dual Book Cards add memorabilia. With print runs of just ten copies, though, they’re tough.
Cut Signatures return, although they’re even more scarce as they’re all one-of-a-kind.
Memorabilia cards are, once again, available with three different formats. Full-Sized Relics have two different designs and deep checklists that are more than just diamond stars. There’s also Framed Mini Relics that are baseball-only.
Shifting away from the game are two tough relic inserts. DNA Relics (/25) return with more fossil pieces. Mythical Relics (/25) fall more in the fun realm with faux pieces that match up with legendary figures and tales. Both of these are hobby-exclusives.
Rip Cards return at a rate of two per hobby case (approximately 1:6 boxes). Additional exclusive cards are in each of these but to get to them, you have to tear the original. It’s a collector’s dilemma — keep what’s known in top condition or essentially destroy it and take a chance on what inside.
The regular Rip Cards checklist has 100 different cards, each serial numbered. Dual Rip Cards double up the number of mini inner cards.
Boxloader Rip Cards return for another year. These have three exclusive minis.
The majority of the inner cards are Mini Exclusives that expand the Mini parallel set by another 50 cards, making it 400 total cards. These have Metal (/3) and Wood (1/1) parallels. Mini Stained Glass Exclusives are also available at a rate of one per Boxloader Rip Card.
Artist Originals are one-of-one pieces of artwork on the mini canvas.
2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball has several other insert sets that expand its checklist in both baseball and beyond, regular sized and minis.
Full-sized inserts include Historic Hits. The 50-card set features lots of moments including walk-offs and records.
T51 Murad Reimagined takes the original 1911 set in a new direction. Besides regular inserts, these also have Framed Cloth Variations (/51). This isn’t the first time that Topps has used T51 Murad as inspiration. It was the subject of a standalone basketball set in 2008-09.
Four additional insert sets venture out into the natural world. Sharks are featured in Deep Sea Shiver. Select cards also have relic versions that max out at ten copies each. Rallying Back highlights animals that have bounced back in numbers over the years after being in danger of extinction. Birds of a Feather talk about parrots while Arboreal Appreciation celebrate trees.
A total of 100 Allen & Ginter Framed Originals can be found in packs. These go back to when Allen & Ginter was a tobacco company in the late 1800s and using trading cards as a premium in their products like toys in the bottom of cereal boxes. Each buyback is different and numbered as a one-of-one.
Six mini insert sets stress variety as well.
Mascots IRL is the only one connected to MLB. These look at mascots “in real life.” Exactly what that means, isn’t known at this point. Hopefully it’s not as jarring as an interpretation of The Simpsons or Garbage Pail Kids.
Far, Far Away looks to space while Good for You highlights healthy things. World’s Largest shrinks things down for mini cards and Hats Off showcases what some consider to be fashionable.
2008 Allen & Ginter had a set of mini inserts that looked at leaders from all corners of the world. A lot has changed in the years since so 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter World Leaders revisits the concept.
Every hobby box comes with an oversized boxloader card. These fall under a handful of categories.
Basic Allen & Ginter Boxloaders have jumbo versions of base cards covering top players and rookies. Autographs come with on-card ink and print runs of 15 or less.
N43 Boxloaders are back for another year. Autographs (/15) are also available for select cards.
Mini World’s Largest cards get blown up with a topper version.

Making its return to stores in NOVEMBER 2021, Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball delivers even more of what collectors love.
Find more parallels to chase, more autographs to hunt for, and more insert sets to collect!
Each box will contain:
- 6 Base Card Refractors
- 18 Mini Base Cards
- 7 Insert Cards
On-Card Autographs found 1 per case!
The base set has 300 cards. There’s the usual mix of veterans and rookies. But what would Allen & Ginter be without its non-baseball inclusions? Collectors can expect athletes and other pop culture additions as well. This is one of the brand’s trademark pieces so if you’re wanting only baseball, you might be disappointed. But for those who don’t mind and like some variety, there’s likely to be some more delightful finds.
It’s Chrome so there are Refractors. Several of them, in fact:
The parallels don’t stop there. There’s also Mini parallels, which combine to land one per pack. Additional colors for these come in Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Autographs are in the product, but they’re tough landing just one per 12-box hobby case. Rather than the framed mini autograph format found in the regular Allen & Ginter line, these are full-sized cards. Signatures are on-card.
Autograph parallels includes Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Not a lot of inserts are on the 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball checklist. World Leaders and World’s Largest, both of which are in the regular 2021 A&G set, get a Chrome makeover.
There’s also Rookie Design Variations that look to past Allen & Ginter designs.

2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball Refractor Parallel Breakdown
As for the inserts, 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball packs seven per box.
Three mini sets make the cut, including Rookie Design Variations, celebrating the 2006 design, Baseball Lexicon, featuring baseball terms, and Inside the Park, which highlights national parks.
Another choice is Chase the Rainbow, featuring a Leprechaun, a Pot of Gold card, and several MLB stars. This full-size insert set was not mentioned in the initial details from Topps and is not included with the pack odds.
As mentioned, the autographs are case hits in 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball.
The hard-signed Allen & Ginter Full-Sized Autograph line adds a new Gold Refractor (#/50) version to track down.

The rarity symbols in Disney Lorcana follow a logic where the more sides the shape has, the rarer the card is. The least Common rarity is depicted by a circle - with one side - while the very rarest Legendary and Enchanted Lorcana cards have five-sided pentagons and six-sided hexagons respectively.
If Lorcana’s gorgeous artwork of Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Elsa and Tinker Bell wasn’t enough of a draw, the chance to find the best Lorcana cards in a shiny holographic variant is certain to keep a lot of fans hunting through The First Chapter’s selection of cards. On top of finding standard foil versions of cards, you might also chance upon Lorcana’s incredibly rare Enchanted cards - special variants that feature borderless designs, brand new artwork and a holographic rainbow effect.
Each Booster Pack contains:
[3] uncommon cards
[2] rare, super rare or legendary cards
[1] foil card
As an Illumineer, you'll wield six magical inks to summon glimmers of Disney characters. Glimmers can appear as familiar friends or in fantastically reimagined forms. Recruit glimmers to your team as you travel through the world of Lorcana.
Unlike starter decks, booster packs contain 12 random cards from Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter. Use booster packs to build and customize your deck with abilities and characters beyond those found in starter decks.
There are six different card rarities in Disney Lorcana. You can identify what rarity your Lorcana card is by looking at the rarity symbol at the bottom of the card, in the centre of its border.
One exception to note is Uncommon cards, which are represented by the rarity symbol of an open book - the logic being that an open book has two sides, or pages.
As well as the rarity symbol on the card, the rarity of a Lorcana card is also indicated by the colour of the icon. As cards get rarer, their symbols get more vivid and colourful. The most Common cards are represented by a grey circle, while rarer cards feature metallic bronze, silver and gold shapes, up to the bright rainbow icon used on Enchanted cards.

Things start with a 100-card base set. With it arriving so long after the film’s release, spoilers should not be a concern here. Besides the standard recap, there are 20 Ensemble cards that highlight both characters and the actors who play them.
Silver parallels are one per pack. Other versions include Hammer Die-Cut, Red (/99), Gold (/10) and Black and White (/5). Red (/5) and Gold (1/1) Autographs can also be found for select Ensemble cards.
Chris Hemsworth, who has played Thor for more than a decade, has been a consistent signer over the years. According to Upper Deck, his autograph is back. Joining him is Oscar winner Natalie Portman who saw her role in the franchise grow immensely in this film.
Among the themes is Mighty Graphs, which has standard, Horizontal, Dual and Triple versions. Friends from Work Autographs, Powered Up Autographs and Ensemble Autographs are some of the other places to find ink from the movie’s stars.
Among the premium inserts on the checklist is a fresh crop of Precious Metal Gems Magenta cards.
Scoring Gods draw their inspiration from 1993-94 Ultra Basketball’s Scoring Kings inserts.
Mjolnir and the one-per-box manufactured film cels are some of the other high-end inserts in the product.
Coming out a packs at a more common rate are Friends from Work, New Asgard, Omnipotence City, and Powered Up.

Heritage is traditionally a favorite for collectors who like to build sets. It taps into the origins of the hobby before hits and other chase cards. To that end, the 500-card checklist is one of the bigger ones of the year when it comes to a single release. Besides regular player cards, there are subsets for MVPs, League Leaders and more. The design is based on 1975 Topps Baseball.
As has been the case for the past several years, the base set includes 100 short prints (1:3 packs). This is where one of the big changes comes in as the SPs move from the end of the checklist to the start. For those simply wanting to build a shell set of the 400 main cards, that now means going from #101-500 (replacing #407, a stray short print, with #82, not an SP). From a set building perspective, that gap at the front a lot different and harder to ignore than when they land at the end.
2002 Topps Traded and 2002 Fleer Tradition Baseball are a couple of modern products that have taken this approach.
Among the parallels are Red Border cards, which are exclusive to Target giant boxes. Flip Stock return as hobby exclusives. These reverse the side of the sheet the cards are printed on. As a result, the fronts on these feel rougher and backs have more of a glossy finish. Needless to say, they’re not the easiest cards to spot.
The 2024 Topps Heritage Baseball checklist has several variation themes that change base cards in various ways. These include Black and White Images, Color Swap, White Border, Nicknames and the historically popular Throwback Uniforms. Image, Black Border, Error and Missing Facsimile Signature Variations are also on the checklist and are exclusive to hobby.
Select cards also have Chrome versions (/999), giving them a distinctly modern twist. These have their own mix of parallels:
Over the years, Heritage has developed a strong following for its hits. That said, the product doesn’t take a quantity approach to what’s promised in every box. Autographs are actually fairly tough with plain jersey swatches showing up a lot more frequently.
Real One Autographs anchor the signatures. These combine a multi-generational checklist, the 1975 design and on-card signatures. Red Ink Special Edition parallels are numbered to 75.
Real One Dual (/25) and Triple Autographs (/5) are only available in hobby packs.
New to 2024 Topps Heritage Baseball are 1975 Topps Award Winner Buyback Autographs. Signers on these came up big in the mid ’70s. Original Topps cards are used for these.
Also using players from 1975 are Flashback Autograph Relics (/25 or less).
1975 Baseball Cut Signatures and 1975 Celebrity Cut Signatures are all one-of-ones.
Memorabilia cards continue to be anchored by Clubhouse Collection. Standard versions have Gold parallels numbered to 99 and under. There are also Dual (/75), Triple (/25) and Quad (/10) Clubhouse Collection cards with the equivalent number of players. Autographed Relics top ut at 25 copies.
Stamps replace tradition gear in 1975 U.S. Postage Stamp Relics (/50).
The nods to 1975 don’t end with the base set. In fact, that’s just the start. Whether it’s designs or themes, inserts head back five decades as well.
Baseball Flashbacks and News Flashbacks both return, looking at what happened on and off the field that year.
Then and Now compare current players with stars with similar stats from the time that Jaws was taking a blockbuster bite out of the box office.
Another year, there’s another installment of New Age Performers as well.
Oversized 1975 Topps Baseball blow up select 2024 Heritage base cards. Some of these also have scarce autograph versions.
A couple of retail-exclusive insert sets dive deep into 1975 from a trading card perspective but not necessarily baseball. 1975 Topps Baseball Sensations uses the company’s 1975 Bay City Rollers design to spotlight current and retired players. Gold Foilboard versions are only in Walmart packs while Platinum Foilboard are Target exclusives. In both instances, cards are limited to 999 copies each.
Literal interpretations of mascots and nicknames are the focus of 1975 Topps Zoo’s Who Stick-Ons. The inspiration set was all about animals and wildlife. Like Baseball Sensations, there are Walmart (Blue) and Target (Red) exclusives with print runs of 999.
1975 Topps in 3D is a third retail-only insert set.
Hobby boxes continue to offer box loaders. This year they come in two general forms. 1975 Topps Originals are vintage cards that have a stamp added to them.

2022-23 Parkhurst Champions Hockey is taking the Parkhurst brand beyond just Walmart for the first time in several years. The checklist includes a variety of card types and styles, many of which evoke nostalgia in different ways albeit with a primary focus on current players and rookies.
Hobby boxes include at least one autograph or memorabilia card as well as a second premium card. These are joined by more than a dozen other inserts and parallels.
The base set has 350 total cards. That said, like a lot of Upper Deck’s sets, there are multiple levels within it, some tougher to pull than others.
The first 300 cards make up the shell set. The final 50 are short prints, split evenly between Rookies (1:7 packs) and Legends (1:20 packs).
Parallels come in seven levels:
Select cards also have a mix of autographs and memorabilia cards:
Some base cards also have Photo Variations (1:480 packs) that switch out the image.
One of the ways that 2022-23 Parkhurst Champions Hockey nods to the past is with ’51 Retros (1:8 packs). The 100-card insert set is inspired by 1951-52 Parkhurst Hockey.
Parallels for these include Wrapper Back (1:40 packs) and Gold Rainbow (/51). Blue Border versions are exclusive to retail blasters, landing 1:5 packs (approximately one per box). Autographs (1:360 packs, Rookies – 1:360 packs, Legends – 1:1,920 packs) are also available for some cards. These have their own Red (/5) parallels.
The doo-wop decade inspires a couple of other insert sets as well: ’50s Flashback (1:34 packs) and Jukebox Heroes (1:25 packs), which are die-cut in the shape of one of the freestanding music machines. Both have tough Gold parallels as well as Printing Plates. Some Jukebox Heroes come with numbered autographs as well.
Other insert sets in 2022-23 Parkhurst Champions include All-Star Legends (1:1,200 packs), Tomorrow’s Riches (1:17 packs) and Wire Image (1:15 packs). Tomorrow’s Riches and Wire Images are other places collectors can find Gold parallels, Printing Plates and autographs.
Parkhurst MEM-orable Booklet Cuts are planned redemptions in the product. Autos (/10) and Rookie Autos (/25) are among them.

2024 Topps Big League Baseball cards opt for fun over fancy hits. For the second year in a row, it arrives as an early-season release, taking over the slot once held by Opening Day, which was shelved in 2023.
A lower price tag than most products, Big League doesn’t have the guaranteed autographs, either. What it does have is lots of colorful inserts and a variety of chase levels from the common to the almost impossible.
Veterans, rookies and legends are all part of the 310-card base set. Sounds simple, right? Not exactly. Like last year, it’s a tiered affair. The first 200 cards are “common” and make up the basic shell set. Uncommon Rainbow Foil (#201-250), Rare Blue Foil (#251-275), Super Rare Red (#276-300) and Legendary Gold Foil (#301-310) make things more challenging.
All cards have Black Foil (/25) and FoilFractor (1/1) parallels. Common and Uncommon cards also have Electric Orange Foil cards that are exclusive to blaster value boxes. This is the only place to find Electric Orange Foil Autographs for select cards.
Topps has also inserted 10 redemption cards good for complete sets of Cracked Ice parallels.
Rookies are the theme of Opening Act Autographs, the most common signatures to pull in 2024 Topps Big League Baseball. These fall approximately every third hobby box.
Veterans appear in Big League Autographs, which are 1:136 hobby packs (almost 1:8 boxes).
Mascots, once a staple in Topps Opening Day, are in Big League this time around. These rank among the product’s most plentiful inserts.
Collectors should find multiple Good Vibrations, To the Moon Die-Cuts and Topps Big Leaguer inserts in every hobby box as well.
The checklist has several short print inserts also. Gameday Drip (1:1,838 hobby packs), Let’s Go (1:4,907 hobby packs) and The Bigs! (1:6,464 hobby packs) all come with long odds and small print runs.
Leaving the ballpark and to the social media realm is a second installment of Hobby Influencers inserts (1:735 hobby packs). Collectors can also find Social Media Followback redemptions that will give them famous followers in the form of active and retired major leaguers.

The 100-card base set is another character-driven one with Marvel heroes and villains drawn in an anime style. Among the parallels are Thatched Foil Board, which are four per box, and two-per-box Japanese Mega Moon.
J-Comics Stax inserts are kind of like puzzles. Only, instead of piecing them together to make a larger image, these use acetate stock to build a layered image with three cards. In this instance, it’s a wild comic cover.
Woodblock Echo cards are done on wood stock. The “echo” theme comes into play as they use art that Peach Momoko did for Vol. 1.
Back for another round of inserts are Hanafuda cards. These have both single and booklet versions that open up to multiple panels.
For those up for a collecting dilemma, Capsule Cards return as well. These are rip cards that have a smaller card inside. Street Level, World Level and Cosmic Level make up the main themes. Mini cards are a mix of characters, items, teams and locations.
The Kaiju inserts from the original Marvel Anime release give way to Kaiju Battles. On these, different Marvel monsters are shown facing off.
Other inserts include Kodomomuke, Power Level and Wolverine’s Journey.

Possible parallels include Thatched Foilboard (1:4 packs) and Japanese Mega Moon (1:8 packs).
The 2023 Upper Deck Marvel Anime Vol. 2 checklist is also filled with inserts, averaging seven per Hobby box.
Collectors can find four cards in each box from Kaiju Battle, Kodomomuke, Power Level, and/or Wolverine’s Journey.
Select inserts have hard-signed artist autographs in 2023 Upper Deck Marvel Anime Vol. 2, as well.
Falling once per Hobby box, the Capsule line comes in three different levels (Street/World/Cosmic).
Each rip card has a mystery mini inside featuring characters, items, locations, or teams.
Another interactive option is J-Comics Collage Stax. These designs can be stacked on top of one another to form the full three-card image.
Revisiting the product's initial artwork, the wooden Woodblock Echo cards showcase Peach Momoko's skills from Volume 1. These combine with artist autographs to average one per Hobby box.
Among the case hits, the Hanafuda Booklet cards are particularly impressive. Signed versions have just 25 copies.

2023 Topps Chrome Formula 1 marks the fourth year for the racing card line. Like past years, there’s plenty of color, an assortment of inserts and a selection of autographs. New are cards from some of F1’s biggest stars from the past.
Things start with a 200-card base set. It’s similar to previous installments where F1 racer cards are mixed with several subsets like Crew, Cars, Grand Prix Winners, Driver of the Day and Awards Winners. F2 is also part of the checklist. Five Legends bookend the set including Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.
The parallel lineup is a big one with every card getting more than 20 additional versions:
Ten cards have Celebrations Variations. There are also 10 additional Image Variations.
Autographs are not guaranteed in every 2023 Topps Chrome Formula 1 hobby box. Going by the odds, they average about every third box.
More than 60 signers are available in Chrome Autographs, which are 1:57 packs and have the same design as the main set. Parallels can also be found in:
The 2023 Topps Chrome Formula 1 checklist goes deep on other inserts with nine additional sets. Some are on the common side while several are extremely rare pulls.
Camber (1:3 packs), Autos of 1977 (1:6 packs) and Speed Demons (1:6 packs) all should appear multiple times in every hobby box. These have additional Gold Refractors (/50), Gold Wave Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5), Printing Plates (1/1) and Superfractors (1/1).
From here, the chase gets tough.
Constructor’s Crest highlights different team logos. Base versions, which come numbered to 199, are still 1:336 packs.
Art du Grand Prix is another set without racers. Drawing inspiration from posters, these are 1:721 packs.
Other scarcities include Futuro (1:961 packs), F1 Armour (1:1,404 packs), Turn Up the Lights (1:1,351 packs) and Hidden Gems.

Parallels include Spectral, D.I.S.C.O. (#/99), Damascus (#'d) and Gold Spectrum (1/1).

Heroes of the Storm supplies Realm Lords cards with Diamond Singularity Stones. Chase the Rare, Epic and Legendary parallels numbered to 10 copies or less.
For Overwatch, Ultimate Ready showcases ultimate abilities and works in the one-of-one Talon Charged parallel. Also for Overwatch, the Emotes! lenticular motion cards highlight popular emotes.
Looking to Starcraft 2, the manufactured patch cards from War Banners identify the races and heroes. These come as rare Cosmos (#/10) editions, as well.
World of Warcraft adds rare mounts in the Stable Master plexi set. Done with wooden stock, Crest of War cards cover Warcraft 3 factions and hero class units.

The base set covers 100 cards including the traditional A/B name variations. The bulk of this is recreations of Original Series 6 cards done on the chromium stock. This makes things shiny and metallic.
It’s not just metal reprints, though. Some classic characters get new artwork. Long-time GPK artist Brent Engstrom has also done new comic strips for some of the backs.
Of course, with Topps Chrome comes parallels and lot of them. Here, they include:
Artist Autographs bypass stickers and come with on-card signatures. GPK legend Tom Bunk and James Warhola are among the signers.
Select cards also have C Name Variations that give characters a third name.
